One of my new projects I've been working on for the past 6 months has been to organize a new art gallery.  It is located in Crystal City, an area of South Arlington.  The gallery is called "The Northern Virginia Art Center", and it has 40 artists that show there.  We have paintings, pottery, ceramics, jewelry,  and sculpture.  It's really beautiful, and I will be telling you more about it as we get into full swing.  It  is located in the Crystal City Shoppes (a place that used to be called the Underground.)  It's at 20th St. and Crystal Drive.  We are open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm and on Saturdays from 10 -2.  There is free parking after 4 during the week, and it's free on Saturday.  We are working on getting coupons so that parking will be only 50 cents an hour for our customers.  I'll keep you posted with the updates.

"Boat on the Lake" is a painting that is showing at the gallery right now.  It will be up until Saturday, and then we will change the show.  Don't worry, you'll get to see the new paintings that are going up.

 Our grand opening isn't officially until September when we will have a big reception.  But until then, we are open for business.  Stop by and see all the hard work we've put into this gallery to make it really top notch.
