Key Bridge Square Finds a New Home

Key Bridge Squared
by Jane McElvany Coonce
Today was the day that we change the show at Cassatt's, a cute little eatery where the Arlington Artists Alliance hangs work each month.  I usually put in two paintings per show.  When I arrived, I could only find one painting.  I searched through all of the paintings waiting to be picked up, but it was no where to be found.  I asked the curator about it and she said she would check the files.  Sure enough, it SOLD!  I was thrilled!  Usually, the artist is called when something sells, but somehow my painting had slipped through the cracks.  So another painting of mine has found a new home - this time in Bethesda.

  1. How wonderful. I can feel the morning or evening light reflecting it's warmth. The soft breeze is blowing off the water and the smell of the water is so relaxing. I just take a breath and let go.
And it's great to get a surprise that you were not expecting. Congratulations Jane.
